The Manor Montessori School
New WordPress website replaced old website builder
We created a fresh, updated look for the Manor Montessori School, replacing their old website. We added more information to help the school get found in Google, and to make it easier for prospective families to get a feel for the fun, nurturing environment that Manor provides. We also featured the school’s three locations on the new home page.
A fresh color palette and whimsical, yet readable font communicates the age level of the school, offering preschool through elementary age programs.
Montessori schools are unique and specialized, and families either search out this type of education or may need to learn more about it, so the home page also introduces this information with a link to learn more.
Using WordPress allows the school to have a more functional, performant and great-looking website that is also affordable in the short and long term. WordPress is a great solution for small schools like Montessori schools who want to own their website data and have more control over it at an affordable price.
New Logo
As part of the website refresh process we also created a new logo, which makes the new website look more engaging. A logo helps define a brand, create a professional look, and provide consistency among all marketing materials. We presented three logo concepts, and the team at the school selected their favorite:
We created a graphic element that can be used as a social media icon, and we also showed the school how this logo can be used on uniforms and promotional items for fun!
Tour Scheduling and Application Form
The school administration is thrilled with the new system on the website that allows prospective families to schedule visits using Calendly, and to complete a school application. They use School Cues for inquiries, but currently do not offer an application through this service, so our Gravity Forms software allows them to have a robust form that collects a deposit and creates a PDF of the application. We also created a Summer Camp Application.
Website Lesson After Launch
We met with the team at Manor Montessori the week after launch to go over website instructions with them, which we also publish on the back end of every website we build. We make it easy to learn how to edit the websites we build, and love to share video instructions with step-by-step instructions, and our clients love this too, as well as their new website!
