Design TLC is Awarded Multiple Gold Medals at the Hermes Creative Awards in 2025
Design TLC is excited to announce that we received two Gold Awards and one Honorable Mention from the 2025 Hermes Creative Awards! We design every website with love and care in order to help small schools and nonprofit organizations better represent themselves online, and we're proud of each and every one. It's truly icing on the cake to receive recognition from Hermes' experienced judges for three of our recent website launches.
Hermes Creative Awards is one of the oldest and largest creative competitions in the world. Hermes Creative Awards honors the messengers and creators of the information revolution. Armed with their imaginations and computers, Hermes winners bring their ideas to life through traditional and digital platforms. Each year, competition judges evaluate the creative industry’s best publications, branding collateral, websites, videos, and advertising, marketing, and communication programs.
Winsor School

This is the second Gold Award for Winsor School - the first being the MarCom Gold Award in 2024.
Our goal for Winsor School from the outset was clear: to create a website that truly reflects The Winsor School’s outstanding reputation while offering a modern, user-friendly experience. We aimed to design a site that resonated with the school’s unique identity, was highly functional, and offered a flexible and easy-to-manage platform.
We also integrated advanced functionalities, such as seamless connectivity with Blackbaud’s database for the school’s directory, athletics, and calendar systems. This integration was key to providing the school with a cost-effective and scalable solution, while ensuring that every page was aligned with the school’s mission and vision.
The Clothesline

The Clothesline’s Pro Bono website redesign project aimed to create a more user-friendly, visually engaging, and accessible online presence to better reflect the organization’s mission of providing free, high-quality clothing to low-income school-aged children. Through improved navigation, vibrant imagery, whimsical design elements, and multilingual consistency, the new site offers a welcoming experience for all users while clearly communicating key information about donations, services, and volunteer opportunities. Extensive collaboration with the client ensured the final design aligned with their vision, and backend enhancements streamlined content management. The result is a website that both inspires and functions effectively, helping The Clothesline better serve and connect with their community.
St. Luke's Episcopal School

Design TLC partnered with St. Luke’s School to design a visually engaging, easy-to-manage website that clearly communicated the school’s mission and values while enhancing usability for parents, students, and prospective families. The project emphasized dynamic animations, distinctive typography, and clear “Why” messages on each top-level page to highlight the school’s core strengths. Through close collaboration, strategic content planning, and user-focused design, the site now features compelling testimonials, intuitive navigation, and a streamlined CMS for easy updates by staff. The final product not only tells the school’s story more effectively but also meets high accessibility standards, with over 90% of tests passed—positioning the school to better connect with and serve its community online.
