Favorite Charity:

This nonprofit provides emergency relief, food, healthcare, and long-term support to the people of Tigray who have been affected by war and displacement. I support them because their work directly helps people who have lost their homes, safety, and access to basic needs. As someone who was born and raised in Tigray, Ethiopia, this nonprofit is deeply personal to me, and I’m incredibly thankful that organizations like this exist and continue to be a voice for the voiceless.

Memorable Teacher:

Dr. Jones was my Psychology 101 professor and played a major role in my decision to pursue a Psychology degree. He was so passionate about teaching and made sure everyone was fully engaged even in a 9am class. I later joined his lab, where he taught me so much about research and created many opportunities for me. He also such a warm, fun, and supportive lab environment. Being part of his lab team is one of my favorite college memories.
